Women of Class – an email listing and Internet dialogue for the Women of the Class of 1959.

The Women of Class program began when Pete Dawkins sent an e-mail to the Class asking if anyone would be interested in developing an ongoing correspondence with the "distaff’ members of the Class. It was becoming apparent that news about the Class was not always being passed along to the spouses. This should not have been news to anyone, as the movement of information between husbands and wives is not a lways shared as one might think.

Sue Breen answered the call, was designated as the Women of Class moderator, and has administered the program since the year 2000. Since that time, she has sent messages of significance to what came to be known as “womenofclass.”

She promised her readers that she would never send recipes, jokes or weight loss information. She has been true to that promise. She sends messages of interest about every 10 days to a growing list of wives and widows of the Class of 1959. To date, there are one hundred and eight women on the list.

Any wife or widow who would like to be included in the Woman of Class network should contact her to be added to the list
